Karen Izquierdo is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. She joined Alliance OBGYN in October 2025, bringing a diverse clinical background and a deep passion for supporting women’s health.

Karen earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami, where she specialized in family practice. Her nursing career began at Memorial Regional Hospital, where she cared for patients in the cardiac unit, and later continued in a general dermatology practice assisting in Mohs surgery. During her time at the University of Miami, Karen discovered her passion for women’s health through her work with underserved female populations. Her practice focus is on gynecologic care, pelvic floor physical therapy, pediatric gynecology, and infertility. 

Outside of the office, Karen enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants in Winter Park with her husband, and spending time with their two dogs and their backyard flock of silky chickens. She values empathy, balance, and connection -- principles that guide her both personally and professionally.
